La casa moreliana durante el porfiriato

Abstract

The study of the cities goes beyond a simple analysis urbanístico, architectural or social; all that that seeks to come closer to her, to feel it and to smell it, he/she will have to study it as an everything, putting attention to all its elements to be able to conceive it. The period porfiriano in spite of being for many studied intellectuals presents new challenges, mainly in what refers to the study of its architecture to be during this period when they were gestated a wide variety of styles and of new tipologías that influenced directly in the domestic architecture.. The contrasts that were generated to the interior of the social different strata make it more complex and more interesting. The house was this way the reflection of theories, regulations and civic wills that were forging the landscape of the city little by little, showing this way the intangible thing, what goes beyond the architectural mere designs, putting to the overdraft the interaction of the social relationships, its ideological, symbolic and figurative attributes.

El estudio de las ciudades va más allá de un simple análisis urbanístico, arquitectónico o social; todo aquel que pretenda acercarse a ella, palparla y olerla, tendrá que estudiarla como un todo, poniendo atención a todos sus elementos para poder concebirla. El periodo porfiriano a pesar de ser por muchos intelectuales estudiado presenta nuevos retos, sobre todo en lo que refiere al estudio de su arquitectura por ser durante este periodo cuando se gestaron una gran variedad de estilos y de nuevas tipologías que influyeron directamente en la arquitectura doméstica.. Los contrastes que se generaron al interior de los distintos estratos sociales lo hacen más complejo e interesante. Así la casa fue el reflejo de teorías, reglamentos y voluntades ciudadanas que fueron forjando poco a poco el paisaje de la ciudad, mostrando así lo intangible, lo que va más allá de los meros diseños arquitectónicos, poniendo al descubierto la interacción de las relaciones sociales, sus atributos ideológicos, simbólicos y figurativos.
