Diversidad e interculturalidad: un diagnóstico sobre la realidad educativa de las secundarias de Morelia

Abstract

In any city of the world one can observe people of different nationality, language, color, ideology and social class inhabiting oneself space. Beyond constituting an image folclórica, this representation invites us to meditate on the ways of being and of participating in the civic life. The citizenship, from their origin in the Greek polis, he/she has come being articulated through the binomial exclusion / inclusion being constituted, in most of occasions, in an excluding notion that evidences the privileges, the rights and the limits of some in front of others. Nowadays those excluding and homogeneous visions should give way. In this sense the diversity is a more and more present topic in our society and in consequence in the school institutions of any level. Diversity exists among educational centers of oneself area, among the faculty of oneself center, etc.

En cualquier ciudad del mundo se puede observar gentes de distinta nacionalidad, lengua, color, ideología y clase social habitando un mismo espacio. Más allá de constituir una imagen folclórica, esta representación nos invita a reflexionar sobre los modos de estar y de participar en la vida ciudadana. La ciudadanía, desde su origen en la polis griega, ha venido articulándose a través del binomio exclusión/inclusión constituyéndose, en la mayoría de ocasiones, en una noción excluyente que evidencia los privilegios, los derechos y los límites de unos frente a otros. Hoy en día esas visiones excluyentes y homogéneas deben abandonarse. En este sentido la diversidad es un tema cada vez más presente en nuestra sociedad y en consecuencia en las instituciones escolares de cualquier nivel. Existe diversidad entre centros educativos de una misma zona, entre el profesorado de un mismo centro, etc.
