Necropolitica y capitalismo gore. Un estudio comparativo

Abstract

Given the situation of violence in which we live and the theoretical uncertainty of the social sciences, we find reactions from different areas of knowledge from different parts of the world. In this project I make a comparative analysis of two works that have arisen in this context. In them we find a critique of the economic, political and social bases that influence the radicalization of violence. The texts are, Necropolítica written by the Cameroonian philosopher Achille Mbembe and Capitalism Gore written by the Tijuana philosopher Sayak Valencia. In this way, similarities and differences are established, taking into account the specific realities of which they speak. It also aims to analyze and describe from a critical perspective elements that are linked to violence, such as terror, the State, colonialism, racism, necropolitics, the body and borders. Both texts propose notions that account for the ultraviolence present in the current stage of capitalism, thus helping to create a common language for a phenomenon that is expanding rapidly.

Ante la situación de violencia en la que vivimos y la incertidumbre teórica de las ciencias sociales, encontramos reacciones desde distintas áreas de conocimiento provenientes de diferentes lugares del mundo. En éste proyecto realizo un análisis comparativo de dos obras surgidas en este contexto. En ellas encontramos una crítica a las bases económicas, políticas y sociales que influyen en la radicalización de la violencia. Los textos son, Necropolítica escrita por el filósofo camerunés Achille Mbembe y Capitalismo Gore escrito por la filósofa tijuanense Sayak Valencia. De esta forma se establecen similitudes y diferencias, tomando en cuenta las realidades concretas de las que hablan. También se pretende analizar y describir desde una perspectiva crítica elementos que están vinculados con la violencia, tales como el terror, el Estado, el colonialismo, el racismo, la necropolítica, el cuerpo y las fronteras. Ambos textos proponen nociones que dan cuenta de la ultraviolencia presente en la etapa actual del capitalismo, ayudando así, a crear un lenguaje común para un fenómeno que se está expandiendo con rapidez.
