Factores que limitan el cumplimiento de las sentencias que emite la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos. Los casos del Estado mexicano

Abstract

The full enforcement of the verdicts issued by the Inter-American Court of Human Rights would be an evidence of the proper functioning of the Inter-American Human Rights System. However, it is possible to detect the presence of certain factors that impede the full implementation of these judgments. Derived from the analysis every case where the Mexican State has been sentenced by the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, we propose some strategies that aim to strengthen the compliance of those Court rulings.

La ejecución de las sentencias que emite la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos representarían una evidencia del buen funcionamiento del Sistema Interamericano de Derechos Humanos. Sin embargo, es posible constatar la presencia de ciertos factores que obstaculizan el pleno cumplimiento de esos fallos. Derivado del análisis de cada uno de los casos donde el Estado mexicano ha sido sentenciado ante la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos, planteamos algunas estrategias que apuntan a fortalecer el cumplimiento a esas sentencias.
