Reciclaje de residuos sólidos mediante su incorporación a cementos asfalticos para pavimentos flexibles

Abstract

During the last few years the production of solid waste has grown significantly, causing a number of problems to the environment and health. With the purpose of proposing alternatives to face these problems, this research presents the recycling of solid waste by means of its incorporation to the asphaltic cement for it is use in flexible pavement, the studied wastes were ground rubber of tire, tereftalato of polyethylene and expanded polystyrene, presenting the best performance for some testing the asphalt added with Rubber and Expanded Polystyrene.Durante los últimos años la producción de residuos sólidos ha crecido significativamente, originando un sin número de problemas al ambiente y a la salud. Con el fin de proponer alternativas para hacer frente a estos problemas, este trabajo presenta el reciclado de residuos sólidos mediante su incorporación al cemento asfaltico para su uso en pavimentos flexibles, los residuos estudiados fueron hule molido de neumático, tereftalato de polietileno y poliestireno expandido, presentando el mejor desempeño para algunos ensayes el asfalto adicionado con Caucho molido y Poliestireno expandido.
