Porcentaje de adherencia terapéutica en pacientes con hipertensión arterial en el HGZ MF No 12 Lázaro Cárdenas Michoacán de enero a junio 2022

Abstract

Introduction: Therapeutic adherence is essential for people living with Arterial Hypertension as a process with factors associated with the patient, the professional, the health system, the disease itself and the drugs used. The reduction of the risk of complicating this disease depends to a large extent on it. Goals: To know the percentage of therapeutic adherence in patients with hypertension in the HGZ No MF from January to June 2022. Material and methods: An observational, descriptive, prospective cross-sectional study was carried out from January to March 2023 in patients diagnosed with arterial hypertension. From a population of 5970 people with an accepted estimation error of 0.05, a sample of 102 participants was obtained. Both sexes between 20 and over 50 years of age were included, the Martin Bayarre Grau test was used for data collection. Patients who did not agree to participate or who died during the investigation were not included. Descriptive statistics and Chi square were used to determine the degree of association between the variables. Registration before the Ethics and Research Committee: R-2021-1603-015. Results: Partial therapeutic adherence was 77.45% (n=79), total adherence was 21.5% (n=22) and non-adherence represented only 0.98% (n=1). Conclusions: Total therapeutic adherence was less than 22%, the transactional relationship highlighted non-compliance; compliance with treatment and personal involvement according to the collection instrument yielded 49.22%. The applied test showed a reliability index of 0.698.

Introducción: La adherencia terapéutica es fundamental para las personas que viven con Hipertensión Arterial como proceso con factores asociados al paciente, el profesional, el sistema sanitario, la propia enfermedad y fármacos empleados. De ella depende en gran medida la disminución del riesgo de complicar esta enfermedad. Objetivos: Conocer el porcentaje de adherencia terapéutica en pacientes con hipertensión en el HGZ No MF 12 de enero a junio 2022. Material y métodos: Se realizó un estudio observacional, descriptivo, transversal prospectivo de enero a marzo de 2023 en pacientes con diagnóstico de hipertensión arterial. De una población de 5970 personas con un error de estimación aceptado de 0.05, se obtuvo una muestra de 102 participantes. Se incluyeron ambos sexos con edad entre 20 y más de 50 años, se empleó test de Martin Bayarre Grau para recolección de datos. No se incluyó a pacientes sin aceptar participar o que fallecieron durante la investigación. Se utilizó estadística descriptiva y Chi cuadrado para conocer el grado de asociación entre las variables. Registro ante el Comité de Ética e Investigación: R-2021-1603-015 Resultados: La adherencia terapéutica parcial fue del 77.45% (n=79), la adherencia total fue en un 21.5% (n=22) y la no adherencia representó solo el 0.98% (n=1). Conclusiones: La adherencia terapéutica total fue menor del 22%, la relación transaccional resaltó en incumplimiento; el cumplimiento de tratamiento y la implicación personal de acuerdo al instrumento de recolección arrojó un 49.22%. El test aplicado mostró un índice de fiabilidad de 0.698.
