Rehabilitación del Panteón Civil Municipal de Morelia Michoacán: módulo administrativo

Abstract

Morelia’s Municipal Pantheon, is a space that is currently in a state of decay and abandonment on behalf of the Municipal Government, as well as Morelia’s society; because of that, a series of alterations and decays have manifested themselves inside of the joint, breaking completely with the associated definitions to protection and preservation of the built historic patrimony; in face of this phenomenon the integral rehabilitation of the space is sought, meaning, the rescue of the spaces open to the public, the funerary monuments and the main module; to maintain its original use, furthermore the cultural diffusion of the space will be boosted, as the only historic pantheon of Michoacán, which is summarized as an enhancement. During the investigation, a historic tour is made, thought the backgrounds of Mexico’s cemeteries, with an emphasis on the Panteón Civil Municipal de Morelia, Michoacán, giving it characteristics of an urban plot; an iconological and architectural analysis of its actual state, is carried out. The materials used in the investigation, are, first of all, the building itself, which was analyzed using architectural and photographic surveys, as well as bioclimatic monitoring; also, book consultation, investigation articles, archive documentation and oral sources, which were made through work sheets, old documentation photographic analysis and conducting interviews of the main key factors such as the cemetery’s administrative staff or neighbors to the site. As a result, conservation for the funerary patrimony for the population of Morelia was obtained, which solves the necessity to preserve the historic patrimony built as a legacy for future generations; with the capacity to generate a positive impact inside of the context in which is inscribed; furthermore, a historic analysis of the site is made with the purpose of making a reconstruction of the different stages of the property and establish with more precision the actions to take in order to achieve its conservation.

El panteón Municipal de Morelia, es un espacio que actualmente se encuentra en decadencia y abandono por parte del gobierno municipal y la sociedad de Morelia; debido a ello, se han manifestado una serie de alteraciones y deterioros dentro del conjunto, rompiendo completamente con las definiciones asociadas a la protección y preservación del patrimonio histórico edificado; ante la presencia de este fenómeno se busca la rehabilitación integral del espacio; quieres decir, el rescate de los espacios abiertos al público, los monumentos funerarios y el módulo principal; mantener su uso original, además se impulsará la difusión cultural del espacio, como el único Panteón Histórico de Michoacán, lo que se resume como una puesta en valor. Durante la investigación, se hace un recorrido histórico por los antecedentes de los panteones en México, con énfasis en la historia del Panteón Civil Municipal de Morelia, Michoacán, adjudicándole características de una trama urbana; se realiza un análisis iconológico y arquitectónico del estado actual del mismo. Los materiales utilizados durante la investigación son en primer lugar, el inmueble en sí mismo, el cual fue analizado mediante levantamientos arquitectónicos, fotográficos y monitoreo con tecnología bioclimática; seguido, de la consulta en libros, artículos de investigación, documentos de archivo y fuentes orales, las cuales se realizaron mediante fichas de trabajo, análisis fotográfico de documentos antiguos y la realización de entrevistas hacia los actores clave como personal administrativo del Panteón o vecinos del inmueble. Como resultado se obtuvo un proyecto de conservación para el patrimonio funerario de la población moreliana, que resuelve la necesidad de preservar el patrimonio histórico edificado como legado para las generaciones futuras; con la capacidad de generar un impacto positivo dentro del contexto en el cual se encuentra inserto; además, se realiza un análisis histórico del conjunto, con la finalidad de hacer una reconstrucción de las diferentes etapas del inmueble y poder establecer con más precisión las acciones a tomar para lograr su conservación.
