Sistema de apareamiento genético de Stegastes acapulcoensis (Pomacentridae) en el pacífico central de México

Abstract

Marine reef ecosystems are most biologically diverse on the planet, in terms of number of species and biological interactions. In these ecosystems, the representatives of the Pomacentridae family include some of the most conspicuous species in terms of wealth and abundance. Within this family representatives of the genus Stegastes species are distinguished by being in adulthood are herbivores, territorial and dependent on a substrate for reproduction in which male parental care exercised. In this project, two components were analyzed acapulcoensis Stegastes from the use of microsatellites.

Los arrecifes marinos son de los ecosistemas con mayor diversidad biológica del planeta, en términos de número de especies y de interacciones biológicas. En estos ecosistemas, los representantes de la familia Pomacentridae incluyen algunas de las especies más conspicuas en términos de riqueza y abundancia. Dentro de esta familia los representantes del género Stegastes se distinguen por ser especies que en etapa adulta son herbívoros, territoriales y dependientes de un substrato para su reproducción, en el cual los machos ejercen el cuidado parental. En este proyecto se analizaron dos componentes de Stegastes acapulcoensis a partir del uso de microsatélites.
