The aim of this research is to study the political cultures of moderate monarchism in Mexico during the period of the First Empire (1821-1823). To this end, we will analyse the essential concepts that modulated its ideological structure and constitutional culture, and what political language was used to give them meaning in a scenario of national construction. We start from the hypothesis that the monarchical nation was imagined through the doctrines of liberal philosophy, seeking to establish an intermediate situation that preserved the royal tradition under the new schemes of political modernity. How were imperial imaginaries socialised in the public sphere? What kind of narratives and arguments were used to legitimise a project that, due to its novelty, had yet to be built? What narratives did Agustín de Iturbide use to justify his right to take on a Crown? And which others denied him this legitimacy?

Comportamiento alimentario infantil y su relación con el apego adulto y la regulación emocional de su madre
(Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo, 2022-08) Carranza Plancarte, Julio Israel; Navarro Contreras, Gabriela
Children’s eating behavior has been subject of study for Psychology in our country, due to the prevalence of cases of obesity and overweight in Mexican children. The purpose of this research is to study the phenomenon of children’s eating behavior and the factors that can motivate it. The predominant theoretical line in this work is psychoanalytic, from where the motivations for the development of behavior are understood. The type of adult attachment and the mother’s emotional regulation are the variables subject to research, for which it was necessary to select, adapt, and psychometrically validate instruments for the study of such variables. Therefore, a two-phase research was designed: adaptation of instruments and correlational study. For the second phase of the study, data was collected from a sample of mothers of school-age children in the city of Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico. The data was analyzed using linear regressions between the variables studied. In these results, a relationship was found between unhealthy aspects of child eating behavior with a type of insecure-avoidant attachment and difficulties in emotional regulation of the mother. It is concluded that it is necessary to promote a secure attachment and adequate emotional regulation in primary caregivers for better infant feeding habits.

This proposal is derived from the interdisciplinary research that was developed in the Faculty of Engineering in Wood Technology, at the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo. The present investigation focused on the analysis of wooden beams at the laboratory and in situ level, through non-destructive techniques, physical-mechanical tests, scanning electron microscopy and basic chemical characterization. Three cases were analyzed, all considered as historical monuments (Historic Center of the city), located in the city of Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico. The first was a building located at Av. Madero Oriente N. 799, this building was originally built as a residence, currently it is an enclosure that houses the offices of the INAH Michoacán Center and is part of the Institute's assets. The second case is the building of La Mitra located next to the Metropolitan Cathedral of Morelia (1660 to 1744). Finally, the third case is the building known as the Federal Palace, which is located at Av. Madero Oriente N. 369. The material analyzed was wood that at the time belonged to the aforementioned buildings (recovery wood) and short resent wood which replaced the previous one in rehabilitation and maintenance works.

The main objective of this research is to discover the factors that determine the international competitiveness of agricultural and agro industrial products in Nigeria and Mexico during the period from 1990 to 2018. The international competitiveness of agricultural and agro industrial products is taken as dependent variables while the independent variables are area, exchange rate, inflation, fertilizers, gross domestic product and foreign direct investment. To obtain information on the competitiveness of agricultural and agro-industrial products, international competitiveness measurement tools (Balassa Index, Vollrath Index, export penetration rate and total net trade ratio) were used. The results were estimated using the econometric methodology of time series data d with an annual frequency. For this, an econometric analysis was performed using an autoregressive distributed lag model (ARDL). The main results show that an increase in foreign direct investment, area, fertilizers and economic growth has a positive impact on the international competitiveness of agricultural and agro-industrial products, while an increase in inflation and the exchange rate have an impact. negatively on the international competitiveness of agricultural products and agro-industrial products.

In the present work, the cooling of steel plates is studied by means of three hydraulic nozzles used in the mold and secondary cooling of the continuous casting. First, an experimental system was developed to characterize the fluid dynamics of the nozzles; that is, a collector was made to capture the water that falls on it and determine the impact density, w, at different operating conditions. Subsequently, with the help of the Particle Imaging Velocimetry (PIV) technique and image processing, the shape, expansion angles and velocity of the drops were determined, reaching velocities of ~ 7:2 m · s-1. Then, the thermal history of the cooling of stainless-steel plates, heated between ~ 900 - 1100 °C, was measured by means of immersed thermocouples, recording temperature drops from 1000 to 100 °C, to calculate the heat flux, - q, by means of the Inverse Heat Conduction Problem (IHCP) and knowing the heat transfer coefficient, h. Finally, a numerical model fed with the h calculated as boundary conditions was developed and thus the experimental cooling curves were compared with those simulated mathematically. A relationship between w and the distance at which the nozzle is placed with its cooling capacity is presented. For short distances, high impact densities are found (~ 180 kg · m-2 · s-1) and the gradients of - q were greater and influence the formation of cracks, on the other hand, with greater distances zs, overlaps were presented in the impact marks and cooling was improved.
